Recipe of Chicken cheese cutlet with Shiso leaf and pickled plum(Umeboshi). It's great for lunch box!(Bento)

 

"Too sour to eat it without rice or something. " It might be impression for pickled plums. (while  sweet honey pickled plum is available at store!)

But a  little amount of pickled plum casts a tasty spell on dishes! So this article shows how to make Chicken cheese cutlet with Shiso and pickled plum. Let' check it out!

 

Chicken cheese cutlet with Shiso and pickled plum recipe instructions

Flavor chicken and make chicken rolls

First, slice chicken breast into 2 slices. Then to make chicken thin, hit chicken with wooden spatula or something hard and wooden.(wooden goods is better than plastic for strength.)

Make it thin until chickens become 18cm ×18cm squre.

 

Put salt and pepper on chicken, and coat chicken with a little flour.

Put pickled plum on chicken without 1cm edge of outline. ( to avoid burnt)   Bring Shiso on it, and put pizza cheese on top.

Make them into rolls,  and coat them with flour, beaten egg and Panko(bread crumbs) in this order.  Panko is typically dried. So it makes cutlets crisp.(Also  raw Panko is available at stores.

 

Fry chicken rolls

Pour oil into 2cm height of fry pan. Then turn on middle fire and keep 170 degrees.  Put chicken rolls in fry pan with their jointed surface turning down.

And fry them in low heat for 5minutes, and fry them another 5minutes after turning them  over.

And to heat them well, fry them with their each both side  turning down.( It takes 1minutes for each side.)

Done!! Looks so delicious!!

To avoid scald, cut them into bite size after few minutes later.

Chicken cheese cutlet with Shiso leaf and pickled plum(Umeboshi) ingredients /scale 2people

・one piece of chicken breast meat (about 250g)

30g of pizza cheez

1 tablespoon of pickled plum paste

6 sheets of Shiso

・salt and pepper( as needed)

・flour( as needed)

1/2 of egg

・Panko(bread crumbs,  as needed)

・oil (as needed)
